Kenny Dalglish’s son has thanked fans for their messages of support after the Liverpool legend revealed he was receiving medical care having contracted coronavirus.
Dalglish, Liverpool’s greatest player and one of the club’s best managers, tested positive for the disease after going to hospital on Wednesday for treatment on a different condition.
And fans have come out in their droves to send messages of support to the 69-year-old, as son Paul took to Twitter to say thank you to those who are behind the Scot.
‘It’s not my place to comment on my old man, he can do that for himself in due course,’ he said.
‘Truly humbling messages from supporters of all teams. I’m sure we can all agree this is more important than football & that we are all united as blues to support the NHS. Stay safe everyone.’
