With COVID-19 giving footballers considerably less work to do, the game’s best players have been finding other ways to keep themselves occupied.
The latest trend to have gained popularity has seen players shaving their heads.
“Toilet paper, a broom, there have been a lot of challenges,” said Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez as he started the latest.
“Let’s see who really has eggs.”
Others followed Gimenez as Maxi Gomez and Ferran Torres gladly accepted the challenge. Even Eden Hazard and Rodrigo Moreno opted to shave their heads, as did Iker Casillas.
Even Cristiano Ronaldo got involved, though he’s only shaved the sides and back in order to keep his man bun growing.
Marc Bartra also shaved his, but didn’t go quite as short as the others, instead taking a similar approach to Ander Herrera.
